Let’s try this again!! Original A51 1971 Duster Twister project. Known of this car for 3 decades and owned it for the past 5 yrs. Had big intentions but other projects keep pushing it back and I could really use the room at this point! Data tag is there but the motor and trans are not. Converted to an auto sometime early because it’s been an auto since I’ve known the car. How you see the car in pics is how I purchased it myself. Some sanding here and there…..engine bay kinda chemically stripped, etc. All the bolt on parts have been stripped and primed so that’s the plus side. Sand…reprime and block, all these parts will be ready for paint! These bolt on parts have ZERO RUST and never had rust! The shell itself is ready for media blast, that’s the route I was going to take. Needs lower quarters on both sides as you can see, but the underside and rails are all rock solid. This car came from the South 35 years ago, and has been off the road since 1990ish, this I know for sure. Sorry….NO SHARKTOOTH GRILL!! Does have a 8.75 rear axle w a single spinner, and has been changed to BIG BOLT AND FRONT DISCS by the previous owner.
It’s a PROJECT and it’s priced as one as well. Reserve is set below what one might think it is, I’m not looking to make bank, I’m just looking to make some room! Bring a trailer and a pickup(or suburban like we did!) and some blankets any you can carefully scoop this up all in one trip.
