Shipping Policies for Returns &Exchanges
In cases of qualifying returns, the customer is responsible for any and all shipping and handling charges. Even if there were no initial shipping fees connected to the item.customer will be held responsible for all shipping charges of returned items. Such charges may include the cost of shipment for returning the item, applicable taxes, and any other qualifying fees that may apply. Any Shipping and Handling charges will not be refunded in cases of Returns, Exchanges, or Cancellations (considering the order has already been shipped).
Sales Tax
PerAroma is a New York State based company. Therefore, all orders within the state of New York will be charged a local and county sales tax(8.875%) to be collected by the state. Any and all orders outside of New York State will be discharged from paying a sales tax. If you are ordering from outside of New York State, but notice a sales tax on your order, please change the Shipping Destination before submission of the order.
Sales Tax Policy on Returns and Exchanges
Sales taxes will be refunded fully on all qualifying returns, and may vary on Exchangeable item depending on the price of the item.
Shipping Methods and Delivery Charges
The costs of taxes or duties are excluded from the cost of shipping. For further information, please contact your local customs office to obtain details of shipping charges. In cases of PerAroma shipment refusals, the customer will be held accountable for original shipping costs, any duties, taxes, customs charges, and shipment fees for any returning packages back to PerAroma. In such a case, any of the qualifying fees will be deducted from the refund amount. PerAroma does not profit from the assigned shipping charges, and has made every attempt to reduce the costs of shipping charges for its customers. The law demands us to reveal the details of the package in value and content, and prohibits us from alteration of such information. Additional international shipping charges may apply, such as surcharges, and shipment cost for each additional item chosen. In rare cases of surcharges or delays in the order, the customer will be informed via telephone or e-mail of all additional costs.
Internationally Restricted Products/Locations
PerAroma is legally prohibited of shipping certain name-brands outside of the United States. Such brands include Dermalogica, IMAN, NYX Cosmetics and Jane Iredale. Also restricted by law, is the shipment of particular brands to the European Union. These brands include Davidoff, Joop!,Jil Sander, Nikos, J.Lo/Jennifer Lopez, Calvin Klein, Lancaster, Chloe, Marc Jacobs, Kenneth Cole, Sarah Jessica Parker "Covet", and Cerruti.
Fragrance items and products containing alcohol are categorized as "dangerous goods." We are restricted by international postal regulations to send such products by standard air-mail. All orders containing such items must be sent through Priority International Shipping via USPA. This way such items may be tracked with a tracking code.
Unless a shipment is being sent to an APO/FPO U.S. Military address and U.S. Territories, the United States Postal Service is restricted to ship to certain countries. Expedited shipping services to APO/FPO U.S. Military addresses are not available, and shipments to such destinations may take up to 8 weeks.

Because we strive to achieve 100% customer satisfaction, we preview and inspect each item thoroughly at the time of packaging. If an item has been shipped out from our warehouse in a damaged or flawed condition, MaxAroma accepts 100% responsibility for that item.
All Returns and Exchanges, and any Refunds pertaining to those Returns and Exchanges, are dependent on the condition of the returned merchandise. Any Shipping and Handling charges will not be refunded in cases of Returns, Exchanges, or Cancellations (considering the order has already been shipped).
Full Refund Policy
To receive a Full Refund on returned merchandise, the item(s) must be returned within 14 days of purchase date. The item(s) must be returned in the exact condition received by customer. Unless the item(s) was initially purchased as "Unboxed," the item(s) will need to be returned in their original, sealed, unused, undamaged, and fully packaged condition. If an item is not returned under the conditions mentioned, that item does not qualify for a Full Refund. If an item has been shipped out from our warehouse in a damaged or flawed condition, MaxAroma accepts 100% responsibility for that item.
Any Shipping and Handling charges will not be refunded in cases of Returns, Exchanges, or Cancellations (considering the order has already been shipped). For further information on Partial Refunds, please refer to the Partial Refund & Restocking Fee section. Damaged, mismatched, or missing items cannot be returned or refunded (fully or partially). Partial Refund & Restocking Fee Policy
If an item being returned has been opened, or otherwise not returned in the original condition in which it was received by customer, it may only qualify for a Partial Refund. All Returns and Exchanges, and any Refunds pertaining to those Returns and Exchanges, are dependent on the condition of the returned merchandise. Any Shipping and Handling charges will not be refunded in cases of Returns, Exchanges, or Cancellations (considering the order has already been shipped). Cancellation Policy
Here at MaxAroma, we aim to provide the fastest and most efficient service within the range of our capability. This means that our shipping department processes and ships orders as soon as possible, in the order they are received. Orders placed prior to 11:00 am Eastern Standard Time (EST) will be shipped the same day (business days only). Orders places after 11:00 am EST, will be shipped the following day before 1:00 pm EST (business days only). A tracking number will be sent to customers at the time of shipment. MaxAroma operates on business days only.
Orders placed before 11:00 am EST, will not qualify for cancellation unless they have not yet shipped. Orders placed after 11:00 am EST must be cancelled by 11:00 am EST following the time of the purchase (business days only). If you have not received a shipment confirmation e-mail, and would like to know if your order qualifies for cancellation, please contact us.
If an order has already been shipped, it may not be cancelled. Cancellation only applies to orders which have not yet been shipped. Any cancellation request after shipment will be considered a Return or Exchange case, and customer must follow our Returns and Exchanges Policy.
