This product must be applied BEFORE crabgrass weeds germinate and emerge from the soil.
Hi-Yield Crabgrass Weed Control
Granular is a pre-emergent, selective herbicide for control of crabgrass, foxtail, goosegrass, barnyardgrass, and other listed annual weed grasses. Hi-Yield Crabgrass Control should be used on established turfgrasses, including Bahiagrass, Bermudagrass, Perennial Bluegrass, Fescue, St. Augustinegrass, Zoysiagrass, and other high cut bentgrasses. Appropriate for season-long control on lawns, golf courses, and other grassy areas. Crabgrass Weed Killer should be applied 1 to 2 weeks before germination of annual grass weeds for best control.

Application:
Spring germinating summer grasses (crabgrasses, goosegrasses, foxtails, barnyardgrass) - Northern cool season turfgrass: 1.75 to 3.5 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. of lawn in early spring Southern warm season turfgrass: 2.25 to 3.5 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. of lawn in late winter or early spring Annual Bluegrass - Northern cool season turfgrass: 1.75 to 2.25 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. of lawn in late summer or early fall Southern warm season turfgrass: 3.5 lbs per 1,000 sq. ft. of lawn in late summer or early fall Minimum re-treatment interval: Cool season turf - 56 to 70 days. Warm season turf - 70 to 84 days. Apply to established grass only. Apply 1 to 2 weeks before germination. Use a drop or rotary-type spreader designed for granular herbicides or insecticides. Irrigation must occur immediately following application. See product label for complete precautions and instructions.

Hi-Yield Crabgrass Control
should be applied with a drop or rotary-type spreader and must be watered in immediately after application. With proper application, nearby established ornamental trees and shrubs will not be harmed. Northern Cool Season grass:
1.75 - 3.5 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. in early spring
Southern Warm Season grass:
2.25 - 3.5 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. in late winter or early spring
Northern Cool Season grass:
1.75 - 2.25 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. in late summer or early fall
Southern Warm Season grass:
3.5 lbs per 1,000 sq. ft. in late summer or early fall
