    Description

This is a lot of 4 vintage postcards from the campus of Peace College (now called William Peace University) in Raleigh, NC.  The 4 postcards are all unposted and are from 3 different eras.  See the scans of the cards showing both fronts & backs as well as condition details of each below:
The oldest postcard is the RPPC card and is titled "Peace Institute" Raleigh, North Carolina so that would date it prior to 1943.  It has the defect of the top right corner on the front being creased in a couple places and has a small ding on that corner.  The scans do not show the corner to look as creased as is it. (top left corner on the photo of the backside).  Otherwise, this old card is in very good condition and the previous owner of these cards attended Peace when it was known as Peach Institute.
Another is a linen card - unique in black & white but with a blue sky.  It has the caption "Peace, A Junior College for Women, Raleigh, North Carolina.  It does not have any tears or creases and the corners are good but there is a thin blue line in the top right area of the front border and the back has a few small areas of glue remains - it was removed from an old scrapbook and likely dates to the 1940's.
The third card is a full color linen card also dating to the 1940's.   Likely the card has yellowed a bit over the years but it is in great condition despite its' age.
The newest card, now with a description of "Peace College" on the back, has the slightest bend at the corners but otherwise is also in very nice condition.  There's a zip code on the back so it is at least as "recent" as 1963.
These old postcards will be mailed in a rigid envelope for better protection.
