Particulate Filter offers cost effective solution for filtering particulate and moisture in your airline. PPF Series Filters use 5 Micron Element as a standard element and offer 2, 5, 20 & 40 Micron Elements as an option. It also provides bowl options (Metal or Polycarbonate) as well as drain options (Auto or Manual). Modular design allows PPF Series Filters to be connected to PPR Series Regulator and/or PPL Series Lubricator to complete a full Filter Regulator Lubricator (FRL) unit.
    Installation
Install units so the airflow is in the direction “IN-OUT” as indicated by arrow on the head of the unit. Install filter first in line of additional units such as regulators or lubricators, and as close as possible to the pneumatic tools or appliances being serviced.
Filter must be installed in vertical, downstream position for proper function
    Operation & Adjustments
Filtering out of dirt and foreign particles, and the separation of moisture is automatic with air flow. There are no moving parts and no adjustments are necessary. Accumulated sludge and moisture should be drained off. Sediment should not be permitted to fill above the lower baffle. Wash filter element at intervals with kerosene to maintain filtering efficiency. To clean element, depressurize system, unscrew polycarbonate bowl and unscrew element from head. Dry filter element thoroughly before reassembling. Clean filter bowl(s) only with soapy water. Inspect O-ring, replacing if damaged or distorted. Reassemble with care to avoid stripping threads on bowl. After a metal bowl with sight is tightened, it may be rotated up to 180 (for proper viewing.)
